Dr Alma Harris - Monday 9 September


The CSPA have secured Dr Alma Harris to present on two days: 9 & 10 September 2013. She is from the UK but located currently with the University of Malaya, she is also working with AITSL and is keen to come to Perth.  She is internationally known for her work on school improvement and is an expert on distributed leadership.

Her latest publication was with Andy Hargreaves called ‘Performance Beyond Expectations’ so the Executive will use this as the theme particularly given Andy’s PD here this year.

  • Please remember to bring your laptop or tablet to the conference so that you can access "Meet up".
  • On the Wednesday evening pizza will be provided in the lower bar from 6pm if you want to catch up on arrival.

  • If you have any special dietary requirements if you could let either myself of Jenny know asap, if you have not done so already.

Dr Yong Zhao - Friday 14 June




The CSPA has  secured Dr Yong Zhao for the afternoon of 14 June 2013 at Crown Perth [he is here for the WAPPA Conference].   Yong is internationally known and his works focus on the implications of globalization and technology on education.  The presentation will concentrate on his 2012 book ‘World Class Learners: Educating Creative & Entrepreneurial Students’.
